ABSENCES FROM SCHOOL

Early Leavers/Late

If a student needs to leave school early, a note from a parent/care giver must be given to the student. The student will need to take this note to Student Service Office before school. The student will then receive an Early Leavers Pass. The student shows this pass to the teacher when they are due to leave school and keep this pass on them.

Students who are late to school must go to Student Service Office and sign in before going to class. The Deputy Principal may have to help students who are continually late to become more organised.

Absence from School

All student absences must be explained by a letter or telephone call from the parents/caregivers. Notes are kept as a permanent record and should always be in the parents/caregivers handwriting. Letters should clearly state the students name and roll class as well as day, date and reason for absence. Notes are to be presented on the day of return to the Roll Teacher or Student Service Office.
