SLSOs (School Learning Support Officer)

At Hunter Sports High School we have several Teachers’ Aides who work with teachers in the classroom.

Teachers Aides assist teachers in classroom activities and in the care of students. Teachers Aides assist classroom teachers by:

• Setting up and operating audio visual aids and equipment

• Duplicating materials for students they are working with

• Assisting with the implementation of the classroom learning program with students

• Assisting students with planning and researching assignments

• Working one-on-one with students on specific programs
