Assessment Policies

Students studying the School Certificate and the Higher School Certificate are informed in writing through an Assessment Booklet the following information:

• The components for each course as specified in the course requirements;

• The weightings of each task in relation to the total requirements for the course;

• The nature of each assessment task eg. Formal examination, written task, oral task;

• The school’s policy regarding illness, misadventure and malpractice in assessement tasks and ‘N’ Awards;

• The school’s policy regarding late submission and non-submission or non-serious attempts at assessment tasks;
